Master Leung Kum Tong pointed out that Wing Chun Kung Fu is based on the use of the opponent’s strength without a contest of strengths with the opponent. On the contrary, Wing Chun is a kind of fighting technique that controls the hardness with softness to attack opponents’ crucial body parts, such as the throat, sternum, and lower abdomen. There are three simple forms in Wing Chun Kung Fu, they are Tan Sau (Palm Up Hand), Bong Sau (Wing Hand), and Fook Sau (Bridge-on Hand). There are three sets of Wing Chun routine forms, namely the Siu Nim Tau (Little Practice Way), Chum Kiu (Seeking Bridge) and Biu Tze (Thrusting Fingers). The three sets of Wing Chun routine forms are quite different.

Master Leung also said that it is very suitable for children and the elderly to practice because the Siu Nim Tau is to learn concentration and reaction, as well as an aerobic exercise kind of Kung Fu used for health preservation. It is very stable to stand on one or two feet because they often need to practice the Yee Chi Kim Yeung Ma (Character “two” adduction stance). Therefore, it is not easy for the elderly to fall down if they practice more.

Master Leung also puts forward a very good argument that Wing Chun advocated the use of the left hand, which can activate the right brain so that both the left and right brain are more active than the average person, and which can also prevent Parkinson and brain degeneration and other diseases. The practice of Chi Sau (Sticking Hands) can be exercised in an agile response, so Wing Chun is suitable for children of several years old to the elderly of 70-80 years old.
